These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.blackanchork9.com and services provided by Black Anchor K9 (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the website or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms. A signed training agreement, proposal, invoice, or service-specific policy may contain additional terms. If there is a conflict concerning paid training services, the signed service agreement controls.

1. Services

Black Anchor K9 provides dog-training services that may include consultations, private lessons, board-and-train programs, behavior modification, owner coaching, and related support. Program scope, duration, location, pricing, equipment, transfer lessons, and support are determined by the applicable written proposal or agreement.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide complete and accurate information about your dog’s health, vaccination status, medications, behavior, bite history, aggression, reactivity, and other safety concerns. You agree to follow handling, equipment, management, and follow-up instructions. Failure to disclose material information or follow safety instructions may result in suspension or termination of services.

3. Health and Safety

Dogs must meet the health and vaccination requirements stated in the applicable agreement. We may postpone, modify, or discontinue training when reasonably necessary to protect a dog, client, trainer, other person, or animal. Veterinary expenses and emergency-care authorization are governed by the signed service agreement.

4. Payments, Deposits, Cancellations, and Refunds

Prices, payment schedules, deposits, financing arrangements, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by the written proposal, invoice, and signed service agreement for the program purchased. Third-party payment or financing providers have separate terms and approval requirements.

5. Training Results and Risk

Dog-training outcomes vary based on the dog’s history, health, temperament, environment, owner participation, consistency, and other factors. We do not guarantee that any behavior will be permanently eliminated or that a dog will perform reliably in every circumstance. Dogs are animals and may behave unpredictably. You remain responsible for safe handling, supervision, and compliance with all applicable laws after training.

6. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, logos, photographs, videos, training materials, and written resources are owned by or licensed to Black Anchor K9 and may not be copied, republished, sold, or commercially used without written permission. You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

7. SMS Messaging Terms

When you provide your mobile number and separately opt in, you authorize Black Anchor K9 to send text messages for the purposes described in the applicable consent disclosure. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Third-Party Services

The website or our communications may use or link to third-party services, including forms, scheduling, payment, financing, analytics, and social-media platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Anchor K9 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or services. Any additional allocation of risk relating to training services is governed by the signed service agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Service-specific venue, dispute-resolution, and governing-law provisions are stated in the signed service agreement.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
